Scheduling Insights - Seasonal Series

Release Window: Late Summer/Early Fall

Evil Lives Here: The Killer Speaks has maintained a steady Annual rhythm for 2 years, typically returning in October. Since its inception as a spin-off from the flagship Investigation Discovery franchise, the series has carved out a specific niche by focusing on direct interviews with the perpetrators. This expansion of the brand has solidified its place as a reliable performer for the network during the fall television season. The consistency of its production schedule suggests a long-term commitment from the network to explore this darker perspective of true crime storytelling.

The historical broadcast trajectory indicates that the show serves as a anchor for the network's seasonal programming blocks. By debuting new installments in the fourth quarter, it capitalizes on the high viewership periods associated with the end of the calendar year. This strategic timing ensures that the series remains a prominent fixture in the true crime genre, maintaining a predictable cadence that fans have come to rely upon for their procedural content.
