As of July 15, 2026, TV Time has officially shut down, leaving millions of TV tracking fans without a home. It hard to think that years of tracked watch history, custom lists, and community milestones could just vanish overnight. But if you managed to request and download your official GDPR data export before the servers went dark I have great news: your watch history is safe, and you can import it right here!
If you got your export ZIP file, Series Reminder is ready to act as your new tracking and notification service. You can pick up right where you left off without missing a single upcoming episode.
To make your transition as seamless as possible, I built a fully automated TV Time Importer. Because TV Time's data export structure is complex, I engineered the import process to extract your watch history, favorites, and archive statuses directly from your untouched ZIP file.
The migration process is incredibly straightforward:
gdpr-data.zip. Do not unzip or modify the files inside; the import process works best when the archive is completely untouched.gdpr-data.zip archive and click upload. My automated parser reads the core data tables inside your TV Time export folder:
A Special Note on Free Tier Limits: To ensure you don't lose your TV Time legacy, I will import your entire watch history and favorites list for free, regardless of my standard free-tier limits. You will only need to upgrade to a Premium Subscription if you wish to manually track brand-new shows beyond the free limit once your import is complete.
I built Series Reminder because I wanted a lightweight, clean, and blazing-fast TV tracker that was free of invasive corporate ads, bloated social networks, or unstable platforms. Beyond core tracking, you'll immediately gain access to features like:
