The Industry Oracle - Prestige Tentpole
Oracle Status: Pre-Production Season 2
Sherwood Forest crackles with renewed defiance as Jonathan English and John Glenn prepare to summon their outlaws once more. Following its acclaimed maiden run that pitted Jack Patten's rebellious Saxon forester against Sean Bean's calculating Sheriff of Nottingham, MGM+ greenlit a second chapter in early 2026. The grit and romantic tension between Rob and Lauren McQueen's covertly positioned Marian captured medieval intrigue with sharp historical edge. Behind closed studio doors in Serbia, production teams are deep in pre-production, mapping battle choreography and expanding the courtly turmoil under Norman rule. As the scripts take shape, the legendary bandit's crusade for justice promises even fiercer clashes across Nottinghamshire.
Oracle Prediction: Expect Robin Hood Season 2 to premiere in late spring 2027 on MGM+.
