If you are looking for a new home for your TV tracking, my goal is to make it as easy as possible to migrate your favorite shows and watched history from other platforms to Series Reminder. Whether you are moving on from a service that has shut down, or simply streamlining your setup, you do not have to start tracking from scratch.
Data imports are available to all users. Free tier accounts can import up to our limit of 10 favorite series, while Premium users can import an unlimited number of series and track their full history across all shows.
Each TV tracking site exports data in its own custom format, but Series Reminder focuses on importing the two most critical pieces of your TV history:
You can manage all active migration tools directly on our Import Page. Here is a breakdown of our current import options:
If you saved your official GDPR data export ZIP archive before the TV Time servers went offline on July 15, 2026, you can preserve your history! I am currently running a personal concierge service to manually parse and upload these files for you while I build our automated system. Read our dedicated TV Time Import Guide for complete instructions.
If you are migrating from Episode Calendar, the process is fully automated. You can upload your Episode Calendar data export directly to our Episode Calendar Importer to instantly transfer your library.
For users running their own media servers, we offer two distinct ways to import and track data:
If you already have existing favorites and watched history on Series Reminder, it is always a smart engineering practice to back up your data before running any import. While our imports are designed to be safe and only add data, having a backup copy is a great safety net.
You can download a CSV or JSON copy of your current watch history using our Data Backup tool under your account's Tools menu. For more details on managing backups, check out our Data Backup Guide.
I am always looking to expand our import capabilities. If there is another tracking website or app you want to migrate from, please contact me and let me know! If you can provide a sample data export file from that service, I will do my best to build a custom parser for it.
