Series Reminder is designed to act as your personal subscription command center. We don't just track TV shows; we put you in complete control of exactly how, when, and where you receive your schedule alerts. Whether you want to know the second an episode drops so you can avoid spoilers, or prefer to wait until a full season is ready to binge, our notification engine can be tailored to match your personal viewing habits.
You can configure individual notification settings for each show on your favorites list. Series Reminder features four distinct toggles:
If a show releases multiple episodes on the same day, or drops a special alongside a regular episode, Series Reminder automatically consolidates them. Instead of receiving multiple separate alerts for the same show, all episodes for that series on that day are grouped into a single notification for that series.
Tired of getting push alerts or emails in the middle of the night? All users on Series Reminder can configure their global timezone and choose their preferred delivery hour. Whether you want your daily schedules delivered to your inbox at 7:00 AM, 3:00 PM, or 10:00 PM, our scheduling engine holds your alerts and dispatches them exactly when you want them in your local timezone.
With television shifting from traditional cable to scattered streaming services, the actual "air date" of a show is often different from when you actually have access to watch it. This is what I call the offset problem.
For example, a show like Gold Rush airs on cable Discovery on Friday nights, but streaming Discovery+ viewers might not get access to the episode until a week later. Similarly, international release windows often cause significant delays—a show might air in the US on a Sunday, but not premiere on your local regional service in the UK, Europe, or Australia until a few days or even a couple of weeks later.
To solve this, users with a Premium Subscription gain access to advanced timing dropdowns on individual favorite series, allowing you to configure:
Once you configure your timing and toggles, you can choose how your alerts are delivered. Series Reminder supports several free notification channels:
Email Alerts: Daily digests delivered directly to your inbox.
Discord Webhooks: Pipe TV alerts directly into a custom chat channel on your private server. (Discord Setup Guide)
Pushover Mobile Alerts: Receive instant, native push alerts straight to your smartphone. (Pushover Setup Guide)
Personal iCal Calendars: Sync your favorites schedule straight to Google Calendar, Apple, or Outlook. (iCal Setup Guide)
Personal RSS Feeds: Aggregate your upcoming watchlist releases into your daily news reader. (RSS Setup Guide)
Because our notification system is built on a modular Scheduler and Dispatcher architecture, we are looking forward to introducing even more channels (such as Slack and Alexa) in upcoming updates. If you want a custom output channel that we are not currently supporting, please contact us and let us know!
