Scheduling Insights - Seasonal Series

Release Window: January

Temptation Island (ES) has maintained a steady annual rhythm for four years, typically returning in January. Known locally as La Isla de las Tentaciones, the series has established itself as a ratings powerhouse for Mediaset España since its 2020 debut. The production strategy involves filming seasons back-to-back, allowing the network to deploy installments with high frequency. This reliability has turned the show into a predictable cornerstone for Telecinco, bridging gaps between other major reality franchises.

The historical broadcast trajectory indicates a strong preference for January premieres, though the network occasionally utilizes autumn windows. Despite shifts in the media landscape, the show remains a dominant force due to massive social media engagement. Viewers now expect this cycle of romantic drama to anchor the start of the broadcast year.
