Production Note - Limited Series

Production Type: Miniseries

The Fox Hollow Murders: Playground of a Serial Killer is a standalone Miniseries designed as an active, finite historical narrative. The production utilizes a combination of archival footage, forensic analysis, and firsthand interviews to provide a comprehensive look at one of the most prolific cold cases in Indiana history. By focusing on a specific chronological investigation, the series was structured to deliver a deep dive into the evidence found at the Baumeister property rather than serving as an open-ended procedural.

The creators designed this project to function as a closed-ended documentary experience that honors the victims while exploring the complexities of the manhunt. Because the narrative is rooted in specific historical events and a singular criminal profile, the run is intentionally limited to the scope of the Fox Hollow Farm discoveries. This finite approach ensures that the storytelling remains concentrated on the factual resolution of the case and the ongoing efforts to identify the remaining remains found on the site.

Production Trivia: Produced for Investigation Discovery, this true crime miniseries focuses on the investigation of Herb Baumeister and the discovery of human remains at his Indiana estate.
