The production focused on a high-stakes social hierarchy at Baekyeon Girls High School, meticulously crafting a narrative arc that moves from the introduction of the cruel ranking system to its eventual dismantling by the protagonist.

The production scale utilized a concentrated filming schedule to maintain the intense, claustrophobic atmosphere of the classroom setting. By aligning the script closely with the source material's conclusion, the creators ensured that the character arcs for Sung Su-ji and her classmates reached a definitive resolution.
