Frequently Asked Questions

The channel is run by Viktor, a Swedish content creator known as iskall85, who focuses on technical Minecraft builds and industrial-scale automation. His content on the HermitCraft server is characterized by a mix of complex redstone engineering, massive terraforming projects, and a highly energetic, comedic personality.

Upload frequency typically ranges from one to two videos per week during active HermitCraft seasons, though this can vary based on his development work. Because he balances content creation with game development, he occasionally takes short breaks to focus on major updates for his other projects.

Viewers can support the creator through his Patreon, which offers community perks and exclusive updates on his various projects. He also maintains an official merchandise store at iskall85.shop and provides live behind-the-scenes interaction through his frequent broadcasts on Twitch.

Viktor manages a secondary YouTube channel called iskall85 - Second Channel, which primarily hosts livestream VODs and unedited gameplay footage. He is also the lead developer and face of the Vault Hunters modpack, which functions as a major spin-off series involving many other popular creators.

Iskall85 is a prominent member of the server known for spearheading massive collaborative projects, such as the Sahara desert shop in previous seasons. He frequently interacts with other 'Hermits' like Mumbo Jumbo and EthosLab, often serving as a technical consultant or a comedic foil in group videos.

While HermitCraft focuses on vanilla Minecraft survival and building, Vault Hunters is a heavily modded RPG experience that iskall85 helped design from the ground up. This series emphasizes dungeon crawling, talent trees, and progression mechanics, offering a more structured and objective-based gameplay style compared to the sandbox nature of HermitCraft.
