Production Type: Sketch Comedy Miniseries
Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness is a standalone Sketch Comedy Miniseries designed as a finite narrative. Created alongside writer-director Jeff Schaffer, the production follows Larry David inserting his signature neuroses into seminal moments across American history. Through satirical sketches examining events from the Constitutional Convention to modern milestones, David unpicks romanticized national folklore with awkward modern sensibilities.
The seven-episode arc delivered a self-contained, comedic survey of historical dysfunction, fully concluding its bespoke chronicle without leaving storylines open for continuation.
