After extensive research, we have the definitive, albeit bittersweet, update. In a move that's as thoughtfully considered as one of his own episodes, creator John Wilson and HBO announced that the incredible third season, which aired in the summer of 2023, was also its final season. Wilson felt he had found the perfect ending, bringing his journey of poignant and hilarious discovery to a satisfying close.

While this means we won't be getting a Season 4, it gives us the perfect excuse to revisit all three perfect seasons of television's most unique and heartfelt series.
