On Series Reminder, your Favorites list serves as the foundation of your personalized subscription command center. Adding a show to your favorites tells the system to track its airing schedule, populate your dashboard calendar, and prepare notification alerts. To keep the platform fast and sustainably maintained, our Free Tier supports tracking up to 10 favorite series at a time, while a Premium Subscription unlocks unlimited slots.
Most of our core integrations—including the dashboard, personal RSS feeds, iCal calendar syncing, and notification channels—are fully available on the Free Tier for all shows in your watchlist.
Your watchlist count is based on the total number of series currently favorited in your profile. The system treats all shows equally, meaning both "Continuing" series (shows currently airing or waiting for a new season) and "Ended" series (classic shows that have finished their run) count toward your limit of 10. ** here we really cloud say any show that you any episodes marked and / or a reminder setting is counted as a favorite
To save you clicks, Series Reminder integrates your favorites list directly with your watch history. If you mark an episode, a full season, or an entire series as watched, the system automatically favorites that show for you in the background (provided you are under the 10-series limit).
When a show is automatically added via your watch history, the platform applies a default "Season Premiere" notification setting to it. This ensures you are alerted when new seasons air, without cluttering your inbox. If you already have custom reminder settings configured for that show, they will not be changed.
Special episodes—categorized under "Season 0" by our metadata providers—are treated as an independent category. Because specials are often broadcast outside of a show's regular release schedule, they do not interfere with standard season premiere or season finale calculations. You can choose to enable or disable Special notifications entirely independently on your preferences page without affecting your core episode alerts.
For users with a Premium Subscription, your favorites list gains access to custom timing settings designed to solve the "delayed streaming" and regional offset problems. On individual favorite shows, you can customize:
If you need to track more than 10 favorite shows or want to automate your alerts with custom timing offsets, please consider upgrading to Premium. Your support directly funds our independent, solo-developer platform, keeping the system active and ad-free!
