Defiance: Fighting the Far Right is a standalone docuseries that concluded its 3-episode run in March 2024. This three-part archival documentary was commissioned by Channel 4 to provide a definitive historical record of the British Asian community resistance against the rising tide of neo-Nazi violence in the late 1970s and early 1980s. By focusing on specific historical events like the Southall riots and the murder of Gurdip Singh Chaggar, the production team aimed to illuminate a pivotal yet often overlooked chapter of civil rights history in the United Kingdom.
