Scheduling Insights - Seasonal Series

Release Window: February - April

LOL: Last One Laughing - France has maintained a steady Annual rhythm for 4 years, typically returning in March. Since its debut on Prime Video in April 2021, the series has established itself as a premier tentpole for the streaming service in the French market. The production cycle has consistently favored a spring release window for its main competitive seasons, with Season 2 launching in April 2022 and Season 3 shifting slightly earlier to March 2023. This reliability has allowed the platform to build significant anticipation among local audiences through a predictable yearly schedule.

The show's historical broadcast trajectory demonstrates a commitment to brand expansion beyond the standard seasonal releases. By introducing special editions like the Halloween-themed spin-off in October 2023, the franchise has proven its flexibility while keeping the core competition as a spring fixture. The most recent fourth season continued this trend with a February 2024 debut, reinforcing the first quarter of the year as the show's primary home. This strategic placement ensures the series remains a dominant force in the French unscripted television landscape each year.
