The Industry Oracle - Prestige Tentpole
Oracle Status: Pending Decision
Nova's atmospheric crime saga rests in quiet deliberation after concluding its brutal second installment. Following a five-year gap after the initial Rhodope Mountains investigation, Season 2—subtitled Autumn of the Demon—shifted the ritualistic darkness to the historical streets of Veliko Tarnovo. Stars Teodora Duhovnikova and Vladimir Karamazov once again confronted deep moral fractures and gothic horrors, wrapping their latest harrowing case in May 2024.
While production house Dream Team Films proved the franchise's enduring popularity and viability across international platforms like Walter Presents, no official greenlight for a third chapter has surfaced. Creative teams remain open to further investigations, but deliberate development cycles ensure that any future case will undergo an extended gestation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Nova has not officially greenlit or announced a third season of the crime drama [2.1.3]. Following the broadcast of Season 2, titled Autumn of the Demon, the network and production studio Dream Team Films have kept future installments under evaluation without issuing a formal renewal.
The series is currently dormant with no active filming, pre-production, or post-production taking place. All production operations concluded following the completion and broadcast run of the second season in 2024.
The five-year gap between the 2019 debut and the 2024 return was primarily driven by pandemic disruptions, script development shifts, and the demanding logistics of on-location shoots. Rather than filming in studio sets, the production mounted comprehensive location shoots across Veliko Tarnovo and the Rhodope Mountains around key actors' conflicting theatre schedules.
No canonical spin-offs, prequels, or offshoot franchises are in development. The production team designed the brand strictly as an anthology-style procedural centered on investigators Miya Yazova and Philip Chanov tackling standalone regional murder cases.
Season 2 transitioned the series into an anthology format under the standalone subtitle Autumn of the Demon. While maintaining lead characters Miya Yazova and Philip Chanov, the setting shifted entirely from the Smolyan border region to the historic city of Veliko Tarnovo to focus on a brand-new mystical serial killer narrative.
