Borat's American Lockdown & Debunking Borat is a standalone Limited Series that concluded its 7-episode run in May 2021. This production served as a multi-part expansion of Sacha Baron Cohen's 2020 mockumentary sequel, specifically focusing on the unscripted interactions between the Borat character and two conspiracy theorists during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The series was structured as a finite project, utilizing outtakes and extended sequences that were too lengthy for the feature film but provided significant cultural insight into the American sociopolitical landscape at the time.

The scale of the production was intentionally niche, transitioning from the immersive reality of the lockdown house to a documentary-style format where scientific experts systematically dismantled the misinformation presented by Borat's housemates. Because the series was created to supplement a specific film and address a specific historical moment, the narrative reached its natural conclusion once all conspiracy claims were addressed.
