Frequently Asked Questions
Time Switch (originally titled Dos Tiempos) premiered all of its episodes on May 10, 2023, on Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ internationally. Designed as a self-contained limited narrative, the series concluded its initial release on that same day without further seasons planned.
The Brazilian drama produced a single season consisting of 8 episodes. Each episode ran between 35 and 45 minutes, fully resolving the parallel time-travel journey between 1973 and 2022.
The series was developed and commissioned as a finite fantasy miniseries with a complete beginning, middle, and end. Because the storyline tied up the core arcs of Paz and Cecilia swapping eras, there was no creative or contractual intent to continue production for a second season.
There are no canonical spin-offs, prequel series, or cinematic continuations connected to Time Switch. The standalone Brazilian production exists entirely as an independent eight-part television event.
No credible reports, trade announcements, or development deals suggest that Time Switch will be revived or rebooted. The creative team and distributor have left the franchise closed since its 2023 release.
Following the global consolidation of Disney streaming platforms, Time Switch migrated from the legacy Star+ platform into Disney+ under the Star banner across Latin America and international territories. It remains accessible in the streaming library in its original Portuguese audio with global dubs and subtitles.
