In Flight

In Flight is a standalone Limited Series that concluded its 6-episode run in June 2024. The production was developed as an intense character driven thriller for the Australian streaming service Stan focusing on the dark underbelly of international air travel. By framing the story as a high stakes race against time involving drug smuggling and familial desperation the creators opted for a compact narrative structure that allows for a concentrated exploration of the protagonist moral dilemmas.

The scale of the project was intentionally limited to six episodes to ensure a focused and propulsive viewing experience that avoids the padding often found in multi season dramas. This definitive conclusion was built into the script from its inception allowing the character arcs to reach a natural and satisfying end point. Because the central mystery and the immediate threats to the main character are fully resolved the series stands as a complete work of fiction that does not require additional installments to fulfill its creative promise.
