Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, The First Order has been officially renewed for Season 2 by Bilibili. The platform formally unveiled the second season during its annual Made By Bilibili showcase alongside an official promotional teaser.

The second season is currently in advanced 3D animation and post-production. With the promotional teaser and key visual assets already shared by Bilibili, animation modeling and audio engineering are progressing toward its anticipated broadcast window.

The multi-year hiatus stems from the complex technical demands of high-fidelity 3D CGI animation and asset creation. Adapting The First Order requires extensive digital worldbuilding, bespoke character modeling, and choreography, which take considerable pipeline time compared to standard weekly animated releases.

There are no official spin-offs or direct canon expansions in development at Bilibili. Production efforts remain entirely concentrated on the mainline donghua adaptation of The Speaking Pork Trotter's original novel series.
