High school student Kazuki Muto’s ordinary life shatters when he is killed trying to save a mysterious girl from a monster. He awakens to find the girl, Tokiko Tsumura, has revived him using a Kakugane, a powerful alchemical device. Now possessing his own Kakugane, Kazuki gains the ability to create a "Buso Renkin"—a unique weapon forged from his fighting spirit.
