Compulsion is a standalone Limited Series that concluded its 4-episode run in April 2022. Produced as a compact four-part thriller for Channel 5, the series was designed to explore the psychological unraveling of a paramedic struggling with post-traumatic stress and a secret gambling addiction. The project was conceived as a finite narrative, utilizing a tight production schedule to deliver a high-intensity drama that focuses on the immediate consequences of the protagonist's choices rather than building a multi-season world.

The creative decision to frame the story as a miniseries ensured that the plot moved toward a conclusive and dramatic finale without the intention of returning for a second season. By concentrating the action into a single week of broadcast, the production maintained a sense of urgency and narrative closure. This structure allowed the writers to fully resolve the central conflict and the protagonist's moral dilemma, cementing its status as a complete television event that prioritizes a definitive ending over long-term continuity.
