In the strange, digital world of the Moon Cell, a young man named Hakuno Kishinami awakens with no memory of his past. He is immediately forced to participate in a deadly tournament for the Holy Grail, an object that can grant any wish. To survive, he must summon a powerful hero from history, known as a Servant, to fight for him. Hakuno partners with the flamboyant and incredibly strong Saber, and together they must ascend a seven-story virtual arena, battling other Masters and their Servants. But something is deeply wrong—this Holy Grail War is a broken shadow of what it should be. Hakuno must uncover the truth of this dying world and his own identity.
