Our Skyy concluded its original broadcast run on January 18, 2019, after premiering on November 23, 2018. The series was designed as a finite five-part anthology rather than an ongoing episodic drama.
The project ended because it was strictly conceived as a limited continuity project by GMMTV. Each standalone episode served as a special narrative epilogue for five distinct romantic pairings from earlier network programs.
The original Our Skyy production consists of one season containing five individual episodes. Each installment focuses on one popular couple, granting closure to their original television storylines.
Yes, GMMTV produced a direct anthology sequel titled Our Skyy 2, which aired in 2023. The follow-up adopted the identical format by creating multi-episode continuations for eight subsequent GMMTV series.
Our Skyy functions as a direct canonical continuation of five earlier series: Senior Secret Love: Puppy Honey, 'Cause You're My Boy, My Dear Loser: Edge of 17, Kiss Me Again, and SOTUS S: The Series. Rather than generating cinematic films, its stories exist within the television continuities of those respective flagship shows.
Our Skyy originally premiered exclusively on the digital platform LINE TV before airing on the GMM25 broadcast network in Thailand. International distribution was later established globally through GMMTV's official streaming channels.
