Series Analysis:
Based on the hit manga, Parasyte -the maxim- follows Shinichi Izumi, an ordinary high school student whose life is changed forever. One night, parasitic aliens invade Earth, taking over human brains to control their hosts. One such parasite attempts to infect Shinichi but only manages to take over his right hand. Now, Shinichi and the parasite, whom he names Migi, must form an uneasy alliance to survive. They are forced into a secret war against other parasites who prey on unsuspecting humans, forcing Shinichi to fight monstrous creatures while questioning his own humanity.
