Series Analysis:
In a post-apocalyptic Japan, a devastating "Rusting Wind" corrodes cities and infects the population with a fatal disease. The government hunts for Bisco Akaboshi, a wanted criminal called the "Man-Eating Mushroom," blaming him for the decay. However, Bisco is actually a Mushroom Keeper, using his bow to sprout giant, cleansing mushrooms. He is on a mission to save the world, not destroy it. Bisco joins forces with the brilliant young doctor Milo Nekoyanagi to find the legendary "Sabikui" mushroom, rumored to be a cure-all for the rust. Their wild journey across the wasteland on a giant crab is filled with bizarre creatures and high-stakes battles.
