Series Analysis:
Set in 1920s Japan, TV Tokyo’s *Taisho Otome Fairy Tale* introduces Tamahiko Shima, the pessimistic son of a wealthy family. After a car accident cripples his right arm and takes his mother's life, his disappointed father exiles him to a secluded mountain villa. Believing his life is effectively over, Tamahiko waits to wither away in solitude. His bleak existence is suddenly interrupted by the arrival of Yuzuki, a vibrant and kindhearted young girl his father purchased to be his bride and caretaker. Through her unwavering optimism and devotion, Yuzuki slowly chips away at Tamahiko's despair, teaching him how to find hope and joy again.
