This high-concept production for Peacock was developed by Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner, adapting the surreal short story by Manuel Gonzalez. Starring Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen, the series explores a domestic power struggle triggered by a scientific mishap that alters the physical scale of the protagonists. The project was designed from its inception as a finite narrative to capture the specific tone of the source material without the requirement for multiple seasons.

The production required a sophisticated blend of practical set design and visual effects to convincingly portray the size disparity between the lead characters. By utilizing a limited series format, the creators were able to delve into the psychological complexities of a crumbling marriage through a fantastical lens.
