Series Overview:
In 1993, a girl's body was found on a bed of flowers in a forest, covered in mysterious runes. The East German commissioner Ulrike Bandow (Henriette Confurius) and her new colleague Koray Larssen (Fahri Yardim) take over the case. Mysterious clues lead the investigative duo into the German-German past to an undiscovered, bizarre series of murders - which apparently hasn't ended yet. The investigators' cruel assumption is that the perpetrator has returned to the place where it all began. In order to stop him, the unlikely investigators have to learn to trust each other. But Larssen has her own agenda and Bandow is confronted with her past while solving the case...
