Series Overview:
Massive end-of-year party with guests, music and fireworks. New Year Live or New Year's Eve Fireworks is the New Year celebration show broadcast across the UK on BBC One during the end of a year and the beginning of a new year. Prior to 2009, the programme was set in a studio with performances from successful artists of the year, however it was then filmed live on the streets of London, and shows the annual New Year's Eve firework display on the River Thames. Currently, since 2013, the programme has been accompanied, both before and after, by special live concerts being performed by artists at Westminster Central Hall.
