The Industry Oracle - Prestige Tentpole

Oracle Status: Advanced Pre-Production

Following the explosive global impact of its lethal snowfall, Netflix’s ambitious Argentine adaptation has plunged headlong into crafting its expansive second chapter. Bruno Stagnaro’s vision delivered both critical triumph and massive viewership, prompting the streamer to immediately greenlight a follow-up that broadens the resistance far beyond Buenos Aires. Rather than rushing into physical production, creative teams are currently locked in exhaustive pre-visualization and world-building, orchestrating high-concept extraterrestrial designs and intricate sci-fi mechanics that dwarf the initial season’s scale.

Ricardo Darín is set to reprise his weary survivor Juan Salvo once cameras formally roll. Given the heavy digital architecture and extended post-production pipeline required, patience will remain essential.

Oracle Prediction: Expect Season 2 to debut on Netflix in mid-to-late 2027.
