Niraon is about to lose her family home and inherited farmland due to her brother Saran’s gambling debts. To save it, she agrees to marry Aphichat, the youngest son of Nueaboon and grandson of Prungchat. But Aphichat is soon shot and killed. Believing in fate, Prungchat insists that Niraon marry the elder grandson, Ekkaphop, instead. Chaos ensues, as Ekkaphop already has a lover, Meena. Nueaboon also despises Niraon, believing she brought bad luck that caused her younger son’s death.
