*Salaryman's Club* follows Mikoto Shiratori, a former badminton prodigy whose career was derailed by a past trauma. Now working as an office employee, or "salaryman," at Sunlight Beverage, he believes his athletic days are over. However, his new company forces him to join their corporate badminton team. Unable to play singles due to his past, Mikoto is paired with the brash but talented Tatsuru Miyazumi. The series uniquely blends the daily grind of office life with the high-energy world of competitive sports.
