Lubna Sultani, a 55-year-old kindergarten teacher, lived a fairly traditional life until her husband died unexpectedly. Against the advice of those around her, she makes a brave decision: to run the family coffee factory, which puts her in front of her conservative family who opposes the decision, the patriarchal environment that is unwilling to accept a kindergarten teacher as a business manager, the Jewish society where she often encounters racism, and the local crime family.
