Series Overview:
Maki Tomata has been married for seven years. Her husband, Kyoichi, her first love and a senior from university, was truly the ideal partner. However, as soon as he becomes her husband, Kyoichi changes completely and transforms into a man who vents his emotions. Maki longed for children, but her husband refused her sex for years. Every month, as tears of blood flow from her uterus, she painfully realizes that life doesn't always go as planned. Amidst this, she meets Asahi Yamate, a colleague who grew up overseas and gradually realizes that he is the only man with whom she can truly be honest, and she finds herself drawn to him, eventually wanting to bear his child. One day, she finds out that Kyoichi has been having an affair with her close friend from university. Maki hands Kyoichi divorce papers, but he refuses to divorce her. Will Maki be able to find happiness with "womb love"?
