Star & Sky: Star In My Mind is a standalone Limited Series that concluded its 8-episode run in May 2022. The production was part of a broader GMMTV initiative titled Star & Sky, which paired two distinct stories under a single creative umbrella. This first installment focused on the rekindled romance between characters Daonuea and Khabkluen, moving from their high school history into a university setting. The scale of the production was intentionally intimate, focusing on the emotional development and chemistry of the lead actors to establish a strong fan base for the franchise.

The story was designed with a definitive conclusion to allow the anthology to shift focus to the second half of the project. While the characters appear in the subsequent series, their primary romantic conflict was resolved within this initial eight-episode block. This structure ensured that the narrative remained concise and avoided unnecessary filler, providing a complete journey that satisfied the requirements of a miniseries format.
