"Fans of Dexter who crave the awkward, social anxiety of Fleabag will find this murderous dramedy perfectly unhinged."
Rhiannon Lewis was the office doormat, easily forgotten and perpetually overlooked. That was before she started crossing names off her kill list. Sweetpea is a pitch-black satire on female rage, anchored by a terrifyingly relatable performance from Ella Purnell. It turns out, being invisible is the perfect superpower for getting away with murder—until it isn't. The first season concluded with a chaotic pivot that threatens to blow Rhiannon’s cover wide open, leaving viewers desperate to know if she can talk her way out of the consequences. With the show’s future currently hanging in the balance, make sure to track the series now; you wouldn't want the announcement of Season 2 to slip past you like everyone else does Rhiannon.

Oracle Status: Post-Production/VFX
The bloody, brilliant rampage of Rhiannon Lewis is far from over, as Sky and Starz have officially confirmed her return. After a knockout freshman run, Sweetpea was swiftly renewed, with principal photography for the highly anticipated second season officially wrapping in November 2025. Ella Purnell is back in the lead role, and recent first look images released in March 2026 show her character looking more unhinged than ever, wielding a ketchup bottle in front of the word "monster."
Currently deep in post-production, the creative team is busy editing what Purnell promises will be a completely bonkers sophomore outing. With new cast members like Rish Shah and Tamsin Greig joining the fray, the stakes are undeniably higher. Expect a full trailer and an official release date announcement to arrive very soon.
Oracle Prediction: Season 2 will likely premiere in late Summer or Fall 2026, with a full trailer dropping by early June.
