Series Overview:
Toon In With Me is designed to be a throwback to locally produced children's programs that aired from 1950's through the 1980s, with live-action host, comedy and puppet segments in between classic cartoons. The show is hosted from the MeTV studios by Bill the Cartoon Curator (Bill Leff). His co-host is Toony (Kevin Fleming), a cartoon-loving tuna, who Bill has to take care of while his owner, Goldie Fisher (Leila Gorstein) is away on a world tour. As they present various cartoons, Bill and Toony deal with various problems in the studio, as well as video-chatting with Goldie and receiving useful information from game show host Mr. Quizzer (also Fleming). Each episode contains five classic animated shorts, and ends with Bill and Toony showing off drawings and photos sent in by fans via the show's website.
