Yuuki Yuuna Is a Hero

On the surface, *Yuuki Yuuna Is a Hero* follows the cheerful members of the Sanshu Middle School Hero Club, a group of friends dedicated to helping anyone in need. Their lives, however, are forever changed when they are chosen by a divine tree to become magical heroes. They are tasked with protecting the world from mysterious, destructive monsters called Vertexes. This honor comes at a terrible price. With each transformation and battle, the girls must make a permanent personal sacrifice, losing parts of themselves like their senses, memories, or mobility.
