Series Overview:
Friesland 1999. When the lifeless body of Marianne Vaatstra is found in a meadow, it appears that she has been raped and murdered. A large police force is immediately called in to hunt down the killer. When, after years of intensive detective work, the police were unable to come closer to a solution, Peter R. de Vries and the Vaatstra family joined forces. As a result the murderer is found almost immediately...thirteen years after Marianne's death.
