Little Demon remains a definitive pillar of adult animated horror-comedy television, having concluded its influential run on FXX. The series carved out a unique space by blending extreme occult imagery with the mundane struggles of a mother and daughter navigating a supernatural divorce from Satan. Its legacy is defined by its refusal to pull punches, utilizing a grotesque yet vibrant aesthetic that challenged the conventions of adult animation while maintaining a core of genuine emotional resonance. By centering on the Antichrist as a relatable teenager, the show subverted traditional horror tropes and replaced them with a sharp, satirical look at modern family life.

Fans continue to return to the series as a rewatch staple due to the unmatched voice chemistry between Danny DeVito, Aubrey Plaza, and Lucy DeVito. The density of its visual gags and the intricate world-building of its various hellish realms offer new discoveries upon subsequent viewings, making it a condensed masterclass in genre-bending storytelling. While its time on air was brief, its impact persists through a dedicated cult following that appreciates its unapologetic weirdness and its sophisticated approach to both gore and comedy. It stands as a testament to the creative risks possible within the medium, ensuring its place in the pantheon of subversive animation.
