Frequently Asked Questions
Only Friends aired its finale on October 28, 2023, on One 31 alongside an uncut release on streaming platforms. The series concluded as scheduled upon reaching the natural end of its planned 12-episode narrative arc.
Only Friends consists of a single season containing 12 episodes. Produced by GMMTV and Hard Feelings Film, the story was conceived and completed as a self-contained limited series.
The series was developed with a closed-ended, complete storyline tracking the intricate personal and romantic lives of its central ensemble. Because the creative team resolved the primary relationship conflicts and character arcs, there was no artistic intent to artificially extend the show beyond its intended run.
There are currently no official plans or credible reports from production company GMMTV regarding a second season, sequel series, or reboot. The primary cast members have since moved on to headline separate and unrelated television productions.
No canonical spin-offs, prequels, or feature film adaptations have been produced for Only Friends. The intellectual property exists entirely within the twelve episodes of the original 2023 television broadcast.
In Thailand, the television edit premiered on the linear network One 31 on Saturday nights. An extended, uncut version was simultaneously distributed internationally and locally via the streaming platform oneD and official YouTube channels.
