Frequently Asked Questions
STARZ announced in June 2024 that Power Book IV: Force would end with its third season. The conclusion was a creative and strategic decision by executive producer Curtis 50 Cent Jackson and showrunner Gary Lennon to bring Tommy Egan's Chicago chapter to a natural, high-stakes ending while restructuring the broader Power universe.
Power Book IV: Force produced a total of three seasons comprising 30 episodes, with each season consisting of 10 episodes. The series premiered on February 6, 2022, and broadcast exclusively on the premium cable network STARZ.
While Power Book IV: Force ends Tommy Egan's storyline in Chicago, franchise creators have confirmed that Tommy's overall journey in the Power universe is not over. Creator Gary Lennon and executive producer 50 Cent have indicated that discussions and development are underway for future projects featuring Joseph Sikora reprising his iconic role.
Power Book IV: Force is the third direct spin-off of the original 2014 STARZ flagship series Power. It is part of a shared canonical universe alongside Power Book II: Ghost and the prequel series Power Book III: Raising Kanan, tracking Tommy Egan's life after the death of James Ghost St. Patrick.
Chronologically, the series picks up shortly after the events of the original Power finale and Tommy's brief guest appearance in the first season finale of Power Book II: Ghost. The narrative follows Tommy as he cuts ties with New York, takes an unexpected detour to Chicago, and attempts to build his own criminal empire from the ground up.
The entire series is available for streaming on the STARZ app and STARZ on-demand platforms in the United States. International audiences can access the series through Lionsgate+ and various localized digital video-on-demand retailers.
